True or False? Do the different
DCUC and DCD Scales Bother You?

Vault snagged an Arisia figure from DC Direct's Blackest Night line on Friday and our discussion turned into a big debate about scale and how DCD and DCUC should or shouldn't share shelf space. Vault's got a mini-review of Arisia on our forums, I've added a handful of "Usual Suspects" shots to his review so we can work out if DCD and DCUC have anything close to a compatible scale, and we've got the whole gang talking about the merits (or nasty side effects) of mixing the lines!

Larfleeze & Blackest Night Checklist

With Mattel not having access to upcoming DC events until they happen, DC Direct has been given the chance to strike when the iron is hot and produce figures much closer to what's relevant in the current storylines then Mattel can. DC Direct is taking advantage of this with the New Krypton* (via ActionFigureInsider.Com) line and, of course, with Blackest Night.

* - I don't even know anything about that white cloaked Superwoman, but I like the figure a lot!

ItsAllTrueReview: DC Classics – Dr. Mid-Nite & Copperhead

So, I have to fess up. I wasn't terribly excited for DCUC12. There were a few reasons. Only a couple characters were shouting out to me. I wasn't excited as the prospect of a huge Darkseid. I didn't know how cool the Four Horsemen could make a Metal Man. Well, it's been nearly half a year since I expressed my doubts about DCUC12. I've had the figures for about a week now. Was I impressed? Did I change my mind? You'll have to read on to find out. First up is Doctor Mid-Nite & Copperhead.

Vault Review:
Kryptonite Chaos 2pk

I got a surprise last week while checking e-mail. BigBadToyStore informed me that they were fulfulling my pre-order. I didn’t remember pre-ordering anything from them recently, so you can probably understand my confusion. When I checked my account, lo and behold, I realized what had happened. Yup, a year ago I put my order in for the Luthor/Supergirl two-pack in the hopes that the accessory would be awesome (as promised by Matty) and that it would help ensure the Golden Age Hawks 2pk. Well, that Hawk 2pk is still not in the works and when Matty told ItsAllTrue.Net that the accessory would be four colors of kryptonite, I took note, but had forgotten entirely that I still had it pre-ordered.
