Vault Review: Dark Knight Movie Masters Two-Face

Out of Batman’s entire disfigured, homicidal rogues gallery, my favorite has always been Two-Face. I think what appeals to me is that he isn’t inherently bad like the others. Because of that, I was planning on picking up the Movie Masters figure online. Luckily, I found it at TRU over the weekend and saved on shipping. For any of you out there who haven’t heard, Toys R Us will be carrying the rest of these figures in addition to their being offered on Mattycollector.com. Seeing them together, I was almost tempted to pick up Missile Launcher Joker, but ultimately just settled for Harvey.

ItsAllTrueReview:
MOTU Classics Moss Man

Who could have guessed that Moss Man would end up as one of the most controversial MOTUC figures? He debuted at SDCC with flocking that Mattel couldn't mass replicate. When they changed it, they covered his ears and all hell broke loose. That resulted in two variants for the sale day. Mattel cleared a path of bandwidth and warned us to get in and order as quickly as possible. Moss Man went on-sale at 10:57 local IAT time and both versions were gone in a little over five minutes. Somehow, amidst all the hubbub, I got exactly the Moss Man I wanted.

ItsAllTrueReview: DC Classics – Spectre(s) & Eclipso

Between filled online pre-orders and store sightings, DCUC12 has been out for nearly two months, but many fans got their first opportunity to order it just a week ago via MattyCollector.com. If you're still without, the set is still available. With the early waves, Mattel strived to make a "play pattern" out of the first two figures in each wave. With the A-listers being relegated to All-Star repacks, that may not be as important to Mattel anymore, but it's still true for these two. See, the Spectre put Eclipso out of a job.
