ItsAllTrueReview: DC Classics – Dr. Mid-Nite & Copperhead

So, I have to fess up. I wasn't terribly excited for DCUC12. There were a few reasons. Only a couple characters were shouting out to me. I wasn't excited as the prospect of a huge Darkseid. I didn't know how cool the Four Horsemen could make a Metal Man. Well, it's been nearly half a year since I expressed my doubts about DCUC12. I've had the figures for about a week now. Was I impressed? Did I change my mind? You'll have to read on to find out. First up is Doctor Mid-Nite & Copperhead.

Vault Review:
Kryptonite Chaos 2pk

I got a surprise last week while checking e-mail. BigBadToyStore informed me that they were fulfulling my pre-order. I didn’t remember pre-ordering anything from them recently, so you can probably understand my confusion. When I checked my account, lo and behold, I realized what had happened. Yup, a year ago I put my order in for the Luthor/Supergirl two-pack in the hopes that the accessory would be awesome (as promised by Matty) and that it would help ensure the Golden Age Hawks 2pk. Well, that Hawk 2pk is still not in the works and when Matty told ItsAllTrue.Net that the accessory would be four colors of kryptonite, I took note, but had forgotten entirely that I still had it pre-ordered.

Vault Review: G.I. Joe Arctic Assault Storm Shadow

I was hoping to get to this guy sooner, but the weather didn’t want to agree. The way I see it, it’s more fun to review a G.I. Joe in its natural environment. No, not the toy shelf. Joes were made for play. Figures, accessories, vehicles - all were made to be played with outside. At least, they were when I was a kid. So, with that idea in mind, I waited for the snow… and it finally came.

ItsAllTrueReview: Dark Knight Harvey Dent (Movie Masters)

On January 15th, I anxiously awaited 11am CST. I was ready to order Battle Armor He-Man and reissue Beast Man. The time came and the RSOD started up, but I kept on trucking. I got the items in my cart. I checked out. I paid. I was done! In the excitement, I somehow failed to notice that a Harvey Dent had found his way into my cart. Had I put it there? Had Digital River's server gotten befuddled and added one for me? I'll never know.

ItsAllTrueReview: MOTU Classics Battle Armor He-Man

The first He-Man toy I remember getting was the Road Ripper. And packaged with that Road Ripper was my very first He-Man figure. Now, I knew that, in the cartoon, He-Man wore a harness. I didn't care. Once I opened him and got some play out of his action feature, I was sold. No, as a kid, I didn't have a standard He-Man figure. I had Battle Armor He-Man and he was much, much cooler. Even now, so many years later, when I think of those old figures, when I think of He-Man, I remember Battle Armor He-Man first.
