I spent most of last week (my week "off" from doing reviews) updating the checklists at MOTUClassics.Com, DCClassics.com, etc. Wouldn't you know that as soon as I was caught up, Mattel jumped right in and started filling up my to-do list! Mattel has posted two new MOTU bios on Facebook: Clawful & the Faceless One.
I hadn’t planned on buying a Star Wars figure on my latest visit to Toys R Us. I was going to just use my Rewards coupon to pick up a six inch War Machine. But when I saw Embo sitting on the peg, the battle had begun. I came back to him three different times before surrendering and buying both him and War Machine.
I had little intention of buying the Frost Giant. He looked cool at SDCC , but I generally only buy Marvel Universe figures of characters I know & like. And yet when Vault called me late last week to tell me the newest Gigantic Battles had shown up at Wal-Mart, I found myself driving over to check him out.
Hopefully, you've all taken the time to explore the wonderful MelBirnkrant.Com since the Outer Space Men returned to Earth for last year's San Diego Comic Con. It was always a great resource for the history of the Outer Space Men, but Mel has put together a new exhibit that celebrates their return and looks to their future!
We really appreciated Prince Adam receiving unique head, but I'd like to see him with a laughing head as he was prone to a chuckle or two during his Filmation days. Are there any plans to ever revisit Adam (to fix his vest) and, if so, would a new expression head be possible
Vault put us a little behind, but never fear, the fifth and final review for Transformers Week is here! Friday wraps up with a look at everyone's favorite Junkion, Wreck-Gar. Truth be told, I wasn't sure if I was going to buy him when I saw him. I have a bias against out-of-scale motorcycles, but I do loves me some Wreck-Gar...
