At the end of last year Revoltech introduced a spinoff line from their Sci-Fi series based only on Pixar characters. Naturally I had to pick up the main character from my favorite Pixar movie, WALL-E. Unfortunately the results were a bit disappointing. 
Our 2nd installment in the IAT 2011 Retrospective is here: Highlights & Disappointments. Instead of doing separate lists, Vault and I tried a more back-and-forth round table article about what we liked and what we didn’t. It was an interesting effort, even though there wasn’t much disagreement.
This week, Vault & I will be looking back at the figures of 2011, what we enjoyed, and what we didn’t. Today, we’re kicking things off with a simple top ten. Vault and I have split the duties, each crafting a list of our five favorite figures released in 2011.
I know I must be getting old because it seems like this year just flew by, and it looks like I’m doing the final 2011 review. Surprise, it’s an import! I’m a little behind on Gokaiger reviews, so I’ll get Gokai Blue in before next year begins. 
I was hoping this Christmas would see another release of OSM with vac-metal accessories. I loved the 2010 set and was excited at the prospect of Waves 3 and 4, with their much cooler weapons cache, getting the same treatment. The Horsemen didn’t disappoint, but... lavender & turquoise? Who knew?!
This summer was a challenging time for me as a MOTUC collector. The loss of our subscription sent me back to the Monthly Matty Madhouse. The con exclusive Faker had me (successfully) watching TRU.com like a hawk, but another TRU 2pk, Zodac vs Green Lantern, slipped through my fingers... until now.
