MOTU Fans can figure out a lot of things in advance. We all knew that Prince Adam would be a He-Man repaint. Some fans were certain that Orko would end up as part of a multipack convention exclusive. But Prince Adam as an accessory? I don’t know about you, but that surprised me.
With the upcoming release of the new Trigun movie: Badlands Rumble, it’s no surprise that a new set of figures were also in the works. What did surprise me, or should I say delight, is that these figures are being made by the Revoltech Company. But how does this new Vash the Stampede stack up against previous versions?
It’s difficult to find a decent monster toy line, much less one made up of female monsters. There was Resurrection of Monstress a couple years back that was very stylized, but other than that the market’s been sparse until now with Mattel’s new Monster High line. But is it monster enough or just Halloween Barbie?
If asked to name my favorite DC Heroes, Plastic Man is on the list. He's a been favorite of mine since I was a wee tot, largely because of his cartoon & Super Powers, but I appreciate the comic character too. I couldn't wait to see him as a DCUC and I'm ecstatic that he's finally here.
Who thought that Tommy from 3rd Rock would actually play a convincing Cobra Commander? Not I. But I was wrong. So, after the movie was over, I went out for an action figure of the Commander in his newest duds. But none were to my liking, until now. Say hello to the new face of Cobraaaaa!
In Transformers: War for Cybertron, you get to play as your favorite Transformer and fight the battle that started it all. But, if you’re old school like me, you’re probably looking to reenact that battle on your shelves too. Hasbro knows this and we've already got for first WFC figure: Optimus Prime.
Two years ago, King Grayskull kicked off MOTU Classics with a bang. Since then, the "200x influence" has been relegated to quarterly figures, extra heads, & bonus accessories. That's finally changed with this month's figure. Count Marzo's so badass, he was almost "too 200x" for Mattel.
