Can you believe that we still have a few unreviewed Transformers left even after Transformers Week? I know, it’s crazy. What’s worse is that we’ve put them off for so long that they’ve almost become Retro Reviews. OK, maybe not that old, but Dirge and Thrust certainly aren’t at the front of the collector community’s thoughts.
I was hoping to get this review up much earlier today, but I got a bit behind. So for those of you who have been waiting, I apologize for my tardiness. But in my defense, part of the blame sets on the strangely articulated shoulders of today’s subject. Perceptor is a diva.
Transformers week races on and it’s my turn to deliver the next review. Fingers crossed, I hope I get a good one. Reaching into the pile of unreviewed toys, it looks like I’ll be taking us back a couple weeks with Generations Blurr.
We’re a little behind with our reviews, so I’m giving Noisy a hand with the last MOTUC figure from February. In the MOTUC Canon, we learn that Count Marzo created the Shadow Beasts as his own personal army the first time he tried to capture the throne. But he was still no match for Keldor and Randor’s Super-Brother-Powers and was summarily defeated and turned into a dwarf, while his army was banished to live in the shadows of Mount Barathrum.
I was a casual Star Wars toy collector. But ever since The Vintage Collection debuted, I’ve been finding myself perusing the Star Wars more and more often. In my weakest moments I’m sorely tempted by the AT-AT in retro packaging. But even at my strongest, I couldn’t say no to this Mace Windu.
We’re doing something a little bit different today. Since The LEGO Group’s Ninjago is a game based theme, I felt the best way to present it would be with IAT’s very first video review. So check out the ancient art of Spinjitzu in action and tell us what you think about our first step into filmed reviews.
Even though our Requests article isn’t on a regular basis this year, we still want to dust it off now and again to give the companines ideas for figures fans might like to see. Normally, I don’t bring up DC Universe Classics because Matty’s doing a decent job. But after Toy Fair, an idea came to me that I wanted to share.
