The "Dark Deities" multi-pack will feature three Egyptian inspired variant versions of the dark lord of Gothitropolis - Anubos, Thothos, and Horos! All three figures available at one time, and all three feature full articulation, spectacular paint applications and tons of accessories, including special war armor for Scarabus' evil little minions, the Time Keepers!
If you’re familiar with my reviews you know that I’m a big fan of trying out new toys. I love the stuff Hasbro and Matty make, but I also support the small and independent companies out there who bring much needed originality and freedom to the toy aisles. My newest venture into this realm is the Nanoblock.
I walked into my Toys R Us this week not expecting to really find anything, and was pleasantly surprised by a nice little haul. Not only was I able to pick up the DCUC Golden Pharaoh and Jemm figures, but TRU also got in one case of the new wave of Clone Wars. So I was able to snag myself the new Ahsoka.
Maybe it’s the fact that the figures look so damned good, or that they retail for reasonable prices, or maybe it’s just a Jedi mind trick. Either way, I’m compelled to buy two with every purchase. So when I picked up Lando, I also somehow found myself at checkout with Dagobah Landing Luke Skywalker.
I was so excited for the upcoming Fantastic Exclusive Scarabus figure by the Four Horsemen, that I decided I couldn’t wait for the official release. So I saved up a little bit of extra money and placed an order for the Light & Dark Talisman set that debuted at the Horsemen’s Toypocalypse showing.
This week I was lucky enough to happen upon wave six of Star Wars’ Vintage Collection at my local Wal-Mart. I was tempted to pick up a Jango Fett to go with my Vintage Mace Windu, but instead I decided to pick a character that I actually cared for. So now I’m the proud owner of a General Lando Calrissian.
I made a great discovery Friday night. Our local Toys R Us set out its first box of LEGO Minifigures Series 4! Luckily my girlfriend was with me, (she's always much better at picking these out than I am) and we spent a while up at the Service Desk feeling packages and deciphering those difficult to see bumps.
