Our second entry in Armless Stel Week is a look at the combo figure Nautkeloi / Medphyll. There's just one figure in this review, but it includes alternate heads to be either of the two featured Green Lanterns. It's cool that these two guys have found their way into the line, but I can't help feeling bored by this lineup.
About a month ago, right after Bane Week, I found GL Classics Series II. Star Sapphire was painted like crap, so I left her behind. Over the last month, I've waited patiently for a second case to show up. No luck. And I'm tired of these guys clogging up my desk. Thus, Armless Stel Week! And I'll start with Sodam Yat.
I love my MOTU Classics Battle Armor Skeletor, but he's a bit difficult to review. For one, I've already reviewed most of this figure at least three times already. He does include some swanky new armor and a fan-demanded axe, but can I really prattle on about that for a whole review? I guess we'll find out...
I was so excited for the upcoming Fantastic Exclusive Scarabus figure by the Four Horsemen, that I decided I couldn’t wait for the official release. So I saved up a little bit of extra money and placed an order for the Light & Dark Talisman set that debuted at the Horsemen’s Toypocalypse showing.
This week I was lucky enough to happen upon wave six of Star Wars’ Vintage Collection at my local Wal-Mart. I was tempted to pick up a Jango Fett to go with my Vintage Mace Windu, but instead I decided to pick a character that I actually cared for. So now I’m the proud owner of a General Lando Calrissian.
My Club Eternia subscription finally arrived yesterday and it's starting to make these reviews a bit less timely, but with more King Hssss figures to be released next Friday, I actually feel like I'm a bit ahead of the games on this one! The only thing is, King Hssss left me feeling more or less underwhelmed.
I've only recently started getting into the Marvel Universe line by picking & choosing a few figures here and there. It doesn't seem like there's been much new recently, but Hasbro has been keeping things interesting by refreshing a few older figures with new pieces or new decos, so I snagged a couple for review.
