Two St. Walker’s walk into a bar… ah, I forget the rest. Some collectors consider the overlap in character selection between DC Direct & Mattel to be a joke, but I try to look on the bright side - it's an opportunity to choose the better of two figures. Too bad neither company makes that choice easy.

There are figures you really want and then there are figures you inexplicably must have. The classic Penguin is one of those figures for me. I have a lot of wants for the 6” DC line. I want more characters. I want more tooling. And yet here I am geeking out over a same-character repaint.
I feel that Granamyr is one of the more recognizable characters to spring forth from MOTU. Not everyone may know his name, but a large dragon with a pot belly and horned helmet tends to leave a lasting impression. (Heck, even my mom recognized him.) 
While we were gawking at all the news from Toy Fair, Japan was in the midst of hosting Winter Wonder Festival. Luckily for us at IAT, Robert Baldwin braved the cold temperatures and large crowds to bring us the latest news from our favorite Japanese companies in 2013.
As you can guess by the content here at IAT, I’m a little more keyed in on the Mattel reveals than other companies. While Digital River spoiled most of Mattel’s Toy Fair news (though I’ve heard some say it was done purposefully), the panel still proved important for the info to go along with the images.
While technically not part of a Toy Fair proper, Four Horsemen's Toypocalypse 3: has quickly become one of the most anticipated parts of the weekend. I’m honestly sadder I missed it again this year than Toy Fair itself. I made it up for it by finding plenty of links to coverage!
