Admittedly, I'm not the biggest Snakemen fan. In fact, I can’t even recall having a single Snakeman as a kid. I picked up all the MO2K Snakemen, but they didn’t do much to convince me. I’ve been hoping that Classics could warm my opinion of these cold-blooded villains.
My first installment during Castle Grayskull Week is a two-pack that we’ve had sitting around for a while now. Another great army builder set, the Snake Men two-pack offers a chance at finally diversifying your serpent army beyond just the main characters.
With the Castle Grayskull pre-order scheduled to wrap up next Monday I’ve got MOTU on the brain. Coincidentally, we’ve also got plenty of MOTU Classics figs to review. That’s how theme weeks are born, fellas! It’s all MOTUC this week, starting with the Temple of Darkness Sorceress!
This is going to be a quick review today. I usually aim for about a thousand words per review, but all I’m covering is a teeny, tiny sword. I don't remember if I posted about it at the time, but shortly before Power-Con Mattel announced they’d give away an accessory to attendees. This is that accessory.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve reviewed a MOTU Classics. All told, Sir Laser Lot should be the next up for review, but I’m not much in the mood for laser knights as I write this. I can't escape the primary colors of red & blue though, as I'll be taking a look at Mekaneck instead.
Masters of the Universe Classics usually does a fantastic job of updating vintage figures with a more modernized look. I was particularly excited to see what Dragon Blaster Skeletor’s would look like. Unfortunately I think my expectations were too high.
