Vault put us a little behind, but never fear, the fifth and final review for Transformers Week is here! Friday wraps up with a look at everyone's favorite Junkion, Wreck-Gar. Truth be told, I wasn't sure if I was going to buy him when I saw him. I have a bias against out-of-scale motorcycles, but I do loves me some Wreck-Gar...
If you’re familiar with my reviews you know that I’m a big fan of trying out new toys. I love the stuff Hasbro and Matty make, but I also support the small and independent companies out there who bring much needed originality and freedom to the toy aisles. My newest venture into this realm is the Nanoblock.
I walked into my Toys R Us this week not expecting to really find anything, and was pleasantly surprised by a nice little haul. Not only was I able to pick up the DCUC Golden Pharaoh and Jemm figures, but TRU also got in one case of the new wave of Clone Wars. So I was able to snag myself the new Ahsoka.
Maybe it’s the fact that the figures look so damned good, or that they retail for reasonable prices, or maybe it’s just a Jedi mind trick. Either way, I’m compelled to buy two with every purchase. So when I picked up Lando, I also somehow found myself at checkout with Dagobah Landing Luke Skywalker.
Armless Stel Week is reaching its shattering conclusion with... well, a review of Armless Stel! He's an interesting figure because he's a mix of greatness and annoyance. I suppose that's true for most of the line, but with Stel it's a little more annoying knowing that they made him wrong on purpose.
Today is the penultimate entry in Armless Stel Week! Before we get to the big man himself tomorrow, I'm taking a look at the Red Lanterns Skallox & Nite-Lik. I've been dreading this review somewhat. See, I lost Skallox's right hand some time during the month I've been waiting on Star Sapphire. Sigh.
I've been hitting the stores looking for Sapphire, but still no luck! So Armless Stel Week continues towards it's one-armed conclusion. I've mentioned that this wave left me feeling rather dissatisfied and I'm reviewing two big reasons today! Movie Masters G'Hu and the so-called 3pk of B'dg, Dex-Starr, & Despotellis
