A strange e-mail in my inbox as NYCC is getting underway. The sender, identifying himself only as “Adam Power”, passed along a link to a placeholder site that displays the classic Power Lords: The Extra-Terrestrial Warriors logo and a date that is to end the world as we know it: 12-21-12.
Last week’s Review Round-Up went over great. It garnered some nice traffic here at IAT and, more importantly, sent plenty of folks off to poke around the other great toy review sites the net has to offer. This week, it's back with a list of reviews from the first week of October.
Like with Transformers Prime, I’m also a bit behind on reviewing the last few S.H. Figuarts figures I picked up. So today I’m going to take a look at Red Hawk from the Super Sentai Jetman series, a figure I purchased because I liked how he looked.
It’s been awhile since my last Marvel Universe review. Truth is, MU and I seem to have had a falling out. Space, budgeting, the return of Marvel Legends, & just finding the damn things have all affected my MU purchases of late. I haven’t bought many, but I did need the SDCC Exclusive Masters of Evil 3pk.
I’ve been falling behind on my Transformers Prime reviews over the last few weeks, so I thought I’d play a little catch-up and review two. Today I’ve got the monstrous Darkness Megatron and the equally intimidating Arms Micron Dark Matter Calibur sword.
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve reviewed a MOTU Classics. All told, Sir Laser Lot should be the next up for review, but I’m not much in the mood for laser knights as I write this. I can't escape the primary colors of red & blue though, as I'll be taking a look at Mekaneck instead.
Masters of the Universe Classics usually does a fantastic job of updating vintage figures with a more modernized look. I was particularly excited to see what Dragon Blaster Skeletor’s would look like. Unfortunately I think my expectations were too high.
