My last review of the week is the Thor and Enchantress Secret Wars two-pack. Like the Doom two-pack, this was the first chance for Marvel Universe fans to pick up a Thor figure, not to mention an Enchantress. On paper this two-pack seemed promising, but sadly, the plastic reality wasn’t so great.
For Wednesday's entry into Thor Week, I'm going to take look at the Marvel Universe line's Wrecking Crew! You have to buy three two-packs and a single carded figure to put this four man team together, but you get a complete team when you're done! And in comic toy lines, you should never overlook a complete team.
Hey there, folks! Spring has sprung, and we know it's been quite a while since you've heard from us; however, we do have some exciting news right now, involving an array of the Rainbow Lantern spectrum: Blackest Night Waves 6-8 and Green Lantern Classics Wave 2 are now in stock!
I also found it interesting that they chose to give us a classic comic book version of Doom in a Secret Wars pack. I always thought the battle armor that he forged to take down the Beyonder had a great look. Plus it made for a really cool toy in the original Secret Wars line. So not seeing that version is a bit disappointing for me.
With Thor debuting in theaters this week (and another project we'll announce soon) we've decided to celebrate the God of Thunder with a week dedicated to reviews of toys based on him and his supporting characters in the Marvel Universe line. For today, we're taking a look at the single-carded Thor from Wave Seven.
Previously, it's been stated that "shipping rates are billed based on weight", but ordering 2 sets of Battle Stands (under a pound) currently costs the same as shipping two figures (typically a pound and a half or more). While we understand that a figure like Panthor should and does cost more to ship, why do we not see lower rates for lighter items?
It's May!! That means it's time to review... April's Club Eternia figure?? Yeah, guys, we're a bit behind, but you'll see why in towards the end of the review. We're here with Sy-Klone today. I had mixed feelings about the figure, but a friend of mine helped put my thoughts on him in perspective.
