We’re a little late, but it’s finally time to select the last group of semi-finalists for IAT’s 2010 Most Requested figure! For the last few months, we’ve featured an eclectic batch of requests and now it’s come time to separate the winners from the losers. Cast your vote in Round 3 before it’s too late!

In April & August respectively, your votes chose the first eight Semi-Finalists: figures from the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, the return of Dino Riders, Rita Repulsa, the Freedom Fighters, the Invisible Woman, C.O.P.S. ‘n Crooks, and DC’s Gangbuster! If you’re counting, we know that was only seven. In the months since Panthor won his spot, he’s made the jump from request to reality. He’s currently scheduled for an April release on MattyCollector.Com! It’s always nice to get one of those requests in the bag and we’re particularly excited for Skeletor’s cat.

Today, you’ll be whittling down the eight candidates from the third round to join the seven semi-finalists in next week’s final poll.

For Round Three, you’ll choose three of the nominees listed below. Voting for this round will continue until 11:59pm CST, Saturday, December 25th. On December 27th, we’ll reveal which three candidates your votes sent to the Final Round and you’ll vote to crown IAT’s 2010 Most Requested Figure.

As we mentioned, receiving a figure disqualifies a nominee from the contest. For Round 3, we’ve already had one disqualification: Transformers Kup. He was recently announced by Hasbro and joins Martian Manhunter, Arkillo, JLU Toyman, Kalibak, Panthor, and our 2009 Most Requested Winner Mera in making the jump from our Most Requested article to plastic form!
