DC Comics has got a slew of characters that wear boring ol’ suits. Mattel has a figure subscription specifically targeted at collectors. When Mattel announced Club Infinite Earths, I was excited at the prospect of getting some boring ol’ suit figures. Black Mask wasn’t on the top of my list though.
As we mentioned last week, Spy Monkey Creations is debuting a new line of action figures called the Weaponeers of Monkaa! The folks over at SMC were kind enough to send along some review samples and with the drop scheduled for 12pm PDT today, now’s probably a good time to take a look at ‘em!

With the Transforming Collections Kickstarter wrapping up this weekend, I thought it’d be a good time to get to a review I’ve had on the backburner: iGear’s Mini-Warriors Spray & Rager. I don’t own a lot of “Third Party” TFs, but the appeal of modern mini-vehicles is hard to resist.
With DCUC currently MIA and DC Direct focusing on video games and all things Nu, the Club Infinite Earths subscription has been my only link to the comics and characters I love. And now with Rocket Red out of the way, it’s pure character gold for the rest of the year!
It’s TMNT Week at The Daytime Ninja! I’m not privy to what goodies are planned for this week, but Gavin graciously led off with my guest “retroview” of the classic TMNT / Star Trek Mash-up First Officer Donatello! We’re closing out Son of Guest Review Week with one of the best in the business, Michael Crawford! He may cringe at the thought, but I’ve been enjoying his toy reviews since I was in high school. He sets the gold standard for toy reviews and I’m elated that he agreed to participate in guest review week!
