For the last few weeks, I've been running across Iron Man 2 Comic Series III figures. I've been tempted, but not enough to buy. The modern armor is odd. The Centurions haven't been painted well. The one I wanted was always gone. But I lucked out while on a trip to Oklahoma this week and Iron Monger came home with me.

Before my next Revoltech shows up, I thought it’d be a good idea to write a review for my last one. Moguera is the thirteenth Sci-Fi Revoltech to be released. He came out the same time as Mothra, but is far less known. So he became one of those figures that I was hoping was cool, since I didn’t know who he was either.

I got into Transformers Animated so late that the only releases I've "waited for" have been the 4 recent Toys R Us exclusive figures (& some unreleased items). I haven't gone back and gotten "them all", but I've picked up my favorite characters. And when it comes to favorites, that certainly includes Rodimus Minor.

Along with the Universal Monsters, I also noticed a new wave of Marvel Universe Mates at our local Toys R Us. I fell out of Minimates collecting when the DC line was cancelled, but every once in a while I’m still tempted back by certain characters. Looking at this Dr. Doom in the store, I couldn’t pass him up.

I don't really have a Transformers budget, but I try to keep an eye on the franchise. I was hooked as a kid and there are certain characters I just have to buy when they get a new version, a redeco, or a reissue. But an e-mail from reader Jason L. reminded of one favorite character that I've never had as a toy: Kup.
