March Review Round-Up
(March 1st-31st) 295 Links!!

While life has been trying its best to beat me into submission, a few site features like the Round-Ups have fallen to the wayside. Did you miss it? I’m never sure how useful the Round-Ups are, so give me a shout out in the comments if you’d like to see them continue!

Since I missed all of the Weekly Round-Ups in March, I got this crazy idea to do one giant Round-Up of March Reviews. The plan was to post it on Friday, but it turns out sorting nearly 300 links from thirty-sites takes a lot longer than I thought! And just nearly 300? We were so close, I thought for sure the group would top 300 for the month. Maybe next time…

Since I’m not used to doing this monthly, I’m not sure about the demographics. There seemed to be an uptick in 7th Market reviews, but it could just be the month’s worth talking. There are some fun things to notice though like the onslaught of G.I. Joe Retaliation and Kre-O Reviews. Kre-O, in particular, amazed me. Will G.I. Joe finally be the property that takes Kre-O to the next level (And, if so, why am I not buying any?) We’ve also got a few more categories than normal this month thanks to the volume of reviews – Predator, Prometheus, Jurassic Park, Bioshock, & Walking Dead all leapt out of the Miscellaneous category this month!

This round-up covers the entire month of March 2013 and includes 295 links reviews from thirty different sites! Reviews are categorized by major brands, independent releases such as Onell or Spy Monkey are listed under the same “7th Market” heading we use for our own reviews, and smaller brands are grouped together under Miscellaneous. As always, offsite reviews do not necessarily reflect the views of IAT or its staff.

7th Market

Beast Saga / Battle Beasts

DC Comics

G.I. Joe

Jurassic Park

Masters of the Universe

Star Wars

Transformers Unlicensed

Walking Dead

Do you know of (or run) a toy site that you think I’d enjoy? Let me know!

  1. I don’t know how you do it, but I certainly enjoy the list every month. I hope you keep it up but I can understand it can be a time consuming task. I love seeing what everyone else is reviewing because, ya know, I need more toys to buy.

  2. These review round-ups are definitely useful. Thanks for all the work and time you put into these features!

Also I gotta say, I too am loving the new JP Dinos. Well-sculpted, decently-articulated dinosaurs are something I always look forward to and the first two did not disappoint.

  3. just as a note… don’t let life beat you into submission. you’ve got a good woman there to help share the load when the going gets tough (and that works both ways, you’re her rock too) and good friends in vault and maneko local when things start to bog you down. the review round-up is fun, but don’t let it interfere in loving your loved ones. you only get one shot at that noisy. keep the partner happy first and foremost, and everything else gets easier to manage. 🙂

and i mean this in the nicest way, but this is WAY too much. WAY too much. i won’t even have time (let alone inclination) to read half of these in the coming week.

  4. I for one LOVE the roundup…I have found some awesome sites because if it.
I think the RR works best on a bi weekly basis, but that’s just my two cents.

  5. I love the round up myself, I love seeing what others are saying about things I have already reviewed and reading reviews of things I haven’t picked up. Great job once again.

  6. I for one, love the round-up and appreciate the hard work you put into compiling these. It’s gonna take quite a few sittings to go through this massive list but it’s well worth it! Many thanks and good Karma to you, Noisy. 🙂

  7. Not only do I love checking out all the reviews from around the web, but my site hits skyrocket after each roundup! I don’t really put much effort into promoting my blog, so I really notice the difference (literally my traffic has tripled since you’ve starting including my reviews!) Much Thanks for all the hard work. I love the category breakdowns, too. They make a daunting list much more manageable 🙂

  8. What i do not realize is in fact how you are now not actually a lot more well-appreciated than you
might be now. You’re very intelligent. You recognize thus significantly with regards to this matter, produced me in my opinion believe it from numerous varied angles. Its like women and men aren’t fascinated until it’s something to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. All the time care for it up!
