I was lucky enough to run across the new TMNT Metal Head on my trip to Target last weekend. So instead of another Transformer Prime figure, I decided to make this Tuesday a Turtles review and rush him to the top of the pile of toys that’s still waiting to be done. Those figures aren't in any hurry anyway! 
Review Round-Up was interesting this week. We've got older toys I never knew existed courtesy of new addition Memories of ToyMorrow, Cool and Collected continues their King Kong barrage, and apparently IAT’s the uncool kid on the block – I feel like the only guy not buying & reviewing Prometheus figures!
While convention season is pretty much over stateside, Japan had a big one up its sleeve with Tamashii Nations 2012! Bandai of Japan has been garnering a large portion of my collecting interest over the last couple years, and the 2013 reveals make it blatantly apparent that my wallet doesn't stand a chance next year. 
This week, I’m looking at the Transformers Prime Gaia Unicron. This is the first Prime import that I pre-ordered before the press images were even released. I’ve been pretty happy with Takara’s exclusive figures so far, so I thought I’d take a chance on this guy. If only I knew then what I knew now...
Classics got its erstwhile start as a Batman line nine years ago. Six years ago, a Batman theme held down every other wave of DCSH. And DC Classics (2008-2011) certainly never strayed too far from Batman & his rogues. With all that Bat-history, it’s inconceivable that we’re just now getting to Poison Ivy.
I have to say I'm getting a kick out of these Review Round-Ups! I started them to network the great toys blogs together a little more & bring great content to even more folks, but I’m personally enjoying it too. I love seeing some of the great (and some off the wall) reviews as I gather the links.
King Ghidorah is one of my most anticipated figures in the MonsterArts line. But having mine stuck in customs for a week had me chewing my fingernails to the bone. I compulsivelyy checked the tracking number, hoping he had passed through! Thankfully, the long wait is over!
