By NoisyDvL5 under Reviews on May 6th, 2013 This week’s schedule will be a little off. My Uncle passed away this weekend and I’m just about out the door on my way to Florida. As many of you know, this year has been sticking it to us here at IAT, but I’m tired of missing days. This won’t be
By NoisyDvL5 under Reviews on April 15th, 2013 In yesterday’s review, I covered Ravage and laid out the basics of what went into the Rumble & Frenzy mold. Today, I’ll take a look at Frenzy proper, the bevy of accessories that the figures come with and how they interact with Soundwave. Oh, and let’s not forget ol’ Buzzsaw.
By NoisyDvL5 under Reviews on April 15th, 2013 If you’ve noticed lately, I’m buying a lot of Transformers, particularly ones that share molds. Those can be difficult to review because, other than paint, there can be a big “been there, done that” vibe. I’ve got an idea to combat that. Four Cassettes. Two Days. One Review… in Two

I remember a time when buying a Transformer was a rare occasion for me. But now things are heading towards the other extreme and I seem to always have a backlog waiting to be reviewed. So I thought I’d make a mini-theme week with a repaint

When I ran across Rumble at my local Target a few months ago, I was pretty eager to pick him up. Unfortunately Hasbro hasn’t followed with his buddy Frenzy. I had to look towards Takara to complete the team, even though I was really ordering the
By NoisyDvL5 under Reviews on February 3rd, 2013 When I get into conversations with fellow collectors and regular readers, they’re often surprised to find about some of the “other” lines I collect. See, the truth is, I’ve been holding out on you guys. Some toys I collect never seem to find their way onto the site. Masterpiece Transformers

As the end of the year draws closer, I find myself trying to catch up on some older reviews that I haven’t gotten around to yet. So in order to save a little time and hopefully fit more things into my schedule, I’m going to have

It’s Monday night as I’m writing this review. Like a lot of other Masters of the Universe fans, I’m anxiously waiting to hear if the ultimate Castle Grayskull playset is going to be a reality, but the website must go on, and it seems I’m never

This week, I’m looking at the Transformers Prime Gaia Unicron. This is the first Prime import that I pre-ordered before the press images were even released. I’ve been pretty happy with Takara’s exclusive figures so far, so I thought I’d take a chance on this guy. If only I knew then

Originally my plan was to write a review about the new TMNT figures I picked up at Toys R Us last week, but SDCC changed everything. With the disappointing follow up news to the Hasbro panel, I figured a review on Takara’s Transformers Prime Breakdown figure was appropriate.

I’ve apparently been buying toys faster than I can review them, which is always a dangerous thing (especially for my wallet). So I’m doing a double dose of Transformers Prime since Bulkhead here has been waiting for a couple weeks already.

I’m really enjoying the Transformers Prime figures. It’s a pretty well designed line with some interesting and unique takes on the characters. But what I like most is the Arms Micron minifigures that Takara is producing for their AM line of figures.
