I haven’t been too impressed by Transformers: Dark of the Moon toys. That may have something to do with the fact I haven’t seen the movie yet though. Two designs did stand out to me in the toy aisle: the terror dog Hatchet, and the overgrown chicken dinosaur that is Laserbeak. 
Each of us have that one specific character we can’t wait to be recreated in the Classics line. Believe it or not, Hurricane Hordak is the figure I’ve been anxiously anticipating since the very beginning. I just never expected him to be released so soon in the line. 
I loved dinosaurs as a kid, but I can’t remember the last time I bought a dinosaur. That is, until recently. With the new Imaginext Dino-Riders, it seems like I’m picking up a toy dino every week. And now Revoltech’s adding to my current collection with their new Jurassic Park T-Rex. 
I wasn’t expecting to buy any of the new Transformers movie toys until much later. Like in a year or so, when the non-movie movie figures start making their way to the shelves. But when I saw Hatchet at my local Target, he was just too cool to pass up. 
I love finding unexpected toys when I’m out shopping for essentials (unless I have no extra money, then it sucks), but fate was on my side Thursday evening and I was there to grab Star Wars The Clone Wars Barriss Offee from my local Wal-Mart. 
An expensive package arrived at my doorstep last week. You know what that means? Another Japanese import review, yay! This time I’m taking a looking at Figma’s one hundredth figure, Hatsune Miku’s Append version. To celebrate the special occasion, Max Factory even included a bonus accessory. 
Grant Morrison’s run on Batman has produced a trove of terrific characters, and thankfully DC Direct has finally started adding them to their plastic roster. So I’m ending this week, and wrapping up my Batman Incorporated reviews, with a look at two of my favorite characters: Knight, and Man-Of-Bats.
