I love getting the non-traditional characters in the MOTU Classics line. So June was actually a pretty exciting month for me. Not only were we able to pick up Teela in here non-canon DC Comics barbarian swimsuit look, but we also got an original 200X character with The Faceless One. 
It's been a little over two months since "Armless Stel" Week concluded here at IAT. I had the rare opportunity to pick up the wave at retail before it was available online and I jumped at it, but the lone Star Sapphire I found was particularly subpar. Little did I know that it would be weeks before I saw a second one.
It's another Friday night and I find myself in front of the computer for an end-of-the week, Mattel news release! This time it's our first look at Queen Marlena in package along with her two bios. Yep, two bios. If you remember, the SDCC & Matty versions will feature different packaging & that means two bios! 
The tidal wave of movie toys is upon us. While Hasbro is busy with their torrent of Transformers and Cap toys, Mattel is hitting us with as much Green Lantern merchandise that they can muster. So I thought I’d give the 4” figures a try with a couple of the more interesting aliens: Hannu and Isamot Kol.
It's been a busy week for Mattel news. We've gotten better images of Swamp Thing, an early look at Young Justice packaging, DC Universe Classics wave 17 in package, and the love has finally rolled around to Masters of the Universe Classics with package shots and bios for Man-E-Faces and Megator.
Earlier this week, Mattel released images of the DC Universe Classics Wave 17. This wave stirred up a lot of controversy when it was announced, so how it sells in the next few weeks will be interesting. I'm buying because I want to build the Anti-Monitor and, hey, the figures at least look good...
