I know that since we were already at $12, it’s not really beginning, but while travelling yesterday I stopped at one of those rare Wal-Mart with DCUCs and the price was now $12.97 for their leftover Wave 7 figures. At that cost, if DCUC8 were to show up at Wal-Mart, and someone found the full line-up with both variants, it would run $116.73 before tax… yikes!
I’ve read that a similar $1 price hike has taken place at Target as well.
I don’t know if I can afford to keep getting these. That’s just too much at once.
Are they fiddling with how high they can go before people will stop buying them? $13 is A LOT for a DCUC figure.

f#$% ’em!!! i walked away from a ronnie firestorm sat and it’s the figure i wanted most since DCUC got announced… but after repeated screwings of the pooch, i’m just not caving in anymore. and 13 bucks, if that’s where the price hike stops, is already just too much. the minimal new tooling done for this line just simply does NOT justify the current price tag, let alone a hike.
suddenly, 20 bucks for a MOTUC doesn’t feel like a bad deal.
Yeah… I still want all these, but at $13 a pop I just don’t know if I can keep up.
