If the Super Friends or Geoff Johns versions of classic characters leaves you cold, then DC Universe Classics Wave 18 probably isn’t your favorite, but the wave still has something to offer even the most stalwart DC Classics Collector, one of DC’s most renowned martial artists, Ben Turner, the Bronze Tiger!
Since I did my favorite figure yesterday, I figured I'd get my least favorite figure out of the way today. Had Black Vulcan come out looking more like the 2up, I would've have enjoyed his figure nearly as much as the others, but something went awry between El Segundo and China.
Another DCUC wave has arrived at IAT and that means it’s time for another Theme Week! All week long Vault and I will be taking a look at the figures from DC Universe Classics Wave 18 – the Apache Chief Wave. Today, I’m kicking things off with one my faves, Samurai!
Over the weekend our local ToysRUs received their first batch of LEGO Minifigures Series 5. I’d been anticipating this for the last couple weeks, making sure to visit each time they got a new truck in. Friday night paid off and I spent way too long deciphering dots and crinkling baggies. Man, I miss those barcodes. 
If any line showcases just how great of a learning curve toy companies are capable of, it’s Marvel Universe. I love my Marvel Legends, but with each new wave of Marvel Universe figures, I feel more and more pull towards the little line. The figures just keep getting better and better.
When I heard they were making this figure, I had to have it. Not because I’m an Assassin’s Creed fan (I’ve never played the games) but because it has the distinction of being the very first action figure based on the eerie look of the historical figures known as Plague Doctors.
