As we were enjoying the afterglow/aftermath of SDCC 2012 a couple weeks ago, another important toy event was taking place half way around the world. Our man in Japan, Robert Baldwin, was there gathering the latest news, pictures, and even a few rumors from WonderFest!
“Are you even listening?” “Can you put the phone down?” I think I might have annoyed everyone I talked to yesterday. I had a full plate, but my iPhone was pretty much glued to my hand as I checked for updates and then reactions to the update on the Mattycollector Subscriptions.
Onell Design is having their July drop tonight! This drop features nearly everything in the main Glyos line in a fantastic military green color scheme and a few unexpected surprises! In addition to the figure release, there’s some great new content expanding the Glyos universe on tap as well!

I’ve keep forgetting to post about the OMFG! Series 2 Kickstarter project. With only 10 days left, I should get on that. Currently, the project is almost funded (98.2%!), so I think we’re good *crosses fingers*, but there is that little matter of the black OMFG! set that’s exclusive to Kickstarter.
My least favorite time of year is here! The Subscription sign-up time! The excitement of the reveals gives way to the arguments over the merits of subs and character selection, opinions become facts, conspiracy theories are abound, and bad marketing is considered terrorism. I should pop some popcorn.
