I've been hitting the stores looking for Sapphire, but still no luck! So Armless Stel Week continues towards it's one-armed conclusion. I've mentioned that this wave left me feeling rather dissatisfied and I'm reviewing two big reasons today! Movie Masters G'Hu and the so-called 3pk of B'dg, Dex-Starr, & Despotellis
Our second entry in Armless Stel Week is a look at the combo figure Nautkeloi / Medphyll. There's just one figure in this review, but it includes alternate heads to be either of the two featured Green Lanterns. It's cool that these two guys have found their way into the line, but I can't help feeling bored by this lineup.
About a month ago, right after Bane Week, I found GL Classics Series II. Star Sapphire was painted like crap, so I left her behind. Over the last month, I've waited patiently for a second case to show up. No luck. And I'm tired of these guys clogging up my desk. Thus, Armless Stel Week! And I'll start with Sodam Yat.
WonderCon kicked off today in San Francisco and it's the second stop on Mattel's 2011 Collector Appreciation Tour. At each show, they promised a few reveals and today Mattel posted an image on their Facebook page of the September's MattyCollector Offerings: Club Eternia's Leech & Hurricane Hordak!
I love my MOTU Classics Battle Armor Skeletor, but he's a bit difficult to review. For one, I've already reviewed most of this figure at least three times already. He does include some swanky new armor and a fan-demanded axe, but can I really prattle on about that for a whole review? I guess we'll find out...
My Club Eternia subscription finally arrived yesterday and it's starting to make these reviews a bit less timely, but with more King Hssss figures to be released next Friday, I actually feel like I'm a bit ahead of the games on this one! The only thing is, King Hssss left me feeling more or less underwhelmed.
We’re a little behind with our reviews, so I’m giving Noisy a hand with the last MOTUC figure from February. In the MOTUC Canon, we learn that Count Marzo created the Shadow Beasts as his own personal army the first time he tried to capture the throne. But he was still no match for Keldor and Randor’s Super-Brother-Powers and was summarily defeated and turned into a dwarf, while his army was banished to live in the shadows of Mount Barathrum.
