Since my local toy watering holes aren’t being cooperative, I’m running a bit low on domestic toys to review. But I did uncover a couple of Diamond Select figures from my to-do pile. Today’s review focuses on the retail version of their Universal Monsters’ Dracula. 
As with Dorothy, I’m thrilled to be getting Big O figures eight years after the show premiered. Now that Roger Smith is on my shelf I can breathe a sigh of relief that at least the two most important characters on the show were made. 
Last week, I’d planned to do a big write-up on Batman Legacy Wave 2, but the Golden Age Batman stole the spotlight during the photo session and he scored his own review. Now, it’s time to finish off the assortment with a quick look at the Silver Age Batgirl & Catman.
As with the Cheerful Japan Miku, the Good Smile Company took another bold step forward and offered last summer’s Wonder Festival exclusives online for worldwide distribution. The first of the two figures I ordered from them is an alternate version of their Aegis Figma. 
By the time I learned just how great Figma figures were, it was too late for me to purchase the original Miku Hatsune without paying insanely high prices. That’s why I jumped at the chance when Max Factory rereleased her in their Cheerful Japan line. 
You know what they say about best laid plans? I’ve been holding off reviewing Catman & Batgirl from Batman Legacy Wave Two for awhile – waiting because I was planning a group review for this wave. Then I finally get the Batman and he ends up getting a solo review. Fancy that.
