Another Halloween has come and past, which means another wave of Universal Monsters figures and Minimates from Diamond Select. I’m starting off with Frankenstein because I have a particular annoyance with his figure and I want to get him out of the way. 
The New Adventures of He-Man is a strange corner of the MOTU Universe. On the surface it doesn’t do much to fit into the original series. But the blending seems to go a lot smoother with the Classics continuity, which is why I’m excited to see these characters in the line.

With the not so great news coming out about Ghostbusters Classics like the cancellation of the Ecto-1 subscription and the $8 blowout (but not sellout), it doesn’t feel like the greatest time to be a Ghostbusters collector. Still, I picked up Slimeblower Ray, but he did little to cheer me up.
It wasn’t that long ago that convention exclusives were a rare commodity. These days, collectors have to plan for multiple exclusives from multiple shows. It kinda sucks, but I do enjoy when we get cool toys for our trouble. Case in point: the NYCC 2011 Exclusive Beta Phase Outer Space Men.
