It’sAllTrueReview: DC Classics Vigilante and Giganta
We've been a little pressed to fit all the reviews in since we got back from JoeCon. We had SDCC Exclusive Week to get those reviews done. We had JoeWeek to get through those reviews too. But in all of the fun, two reviews got lost in the shuffle. This is one of those reviews. First, I should thank the fine folks that e-mailed me about Vigilante. More than a few people noticed he was missing from the Wave 8 reviews and e-mailed me offering to guest review, to loan, to sell, and even to give me a Vigilante. Dutifully, I turned down those offers because I've had Vigilante the whole time. We just left him by the wayside. That's over today. We’re finishing our Series 8 reviews with the fifth installment, featuring Giganta and Vigilante.

BUG-SHIDO Staction Character Contest!

One thing that never surprises us about the various toy forums we visit is the amount of creative people in the toy collecting hobby. You've likely met a few yourselves, folks that will tease you with their art, show off their latest custom, or occasionally you'll meet that guy that sculpts his own toys. Two of those creators, Gatchagrey and RoyalT, have cooked up something really special and they want your help.
Mister Rants asks “Where’s my LEGO Pirate Advent Calendar?”

Over the last few years, the LEGO company has released something very cool for Christmas: a Lego Advent Calendar. Usually, the tradition is to do a “City” theme, but last year they decided to throw caution to the wind and give us the first ever “Castle” themed calendar. The awesome didn’t stop there either. By that point in production, LEGO was taking their Castle theme further than ever before. They were making it more fantasy based, somewhat reminiscent of Lord of the Rings. With the new Castle theme chock full of knights, dwarves, skeleton warriors, and trolls, this new Advent Calendar would be one of the coolest Lego had ever released.
And then, the awesome hit a snag.
