With the SH Monsterarts Destoroyah released and King Kong almost here, I thought I’d take a quick look at one of the early items in the line. The Mechagodzilla effects parts and Garuda aircraft have easily become my favorite bonus set so far, even at its inflated price.

Mattel announced their DCUC/CIE exclusive for SDCC this year and... I honestly think I liked last year’s nothing better. I try not go negative here at IAT, but this one just bugs me. I almost don't want to post it. It’s got dumb Mattel, Geoff Johns, new 52, and bad design all wrapped up in one.

I'm a little behind on 7th Market releases lately, but I was overjoyed when a box arrived from Spy Monkey Creations last week! Inside was their newest release (Dropping today), Bloodlust Umbreus! I liked him before, but SMC is speaking to me with a slick black & red color scheme & vac metal parts!

My favorite toy line of last year was Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. It was extremely fun and appealed to my collector side and the kid inside me who still likes to play. But the line wasn’t perfect, and those issues still persist in its second year.
