BBTS has placed Wave 13 sets and singles up for pre-order as well as providing images of the figures. I've grouped the images together below and resized them evenly, but scale may not be accurately represented.
I have one nitpick that I have to point out. For Superboy, I hope there is time for Mattel to have the neck/shoulder painted black on the final product. For some fans, it may be a minor thing, but he just doesn't look right with the blue neck.
One of the features we wanted to have since we began was a complete review archive of DC Classics. At the outset, we also conceived the idea of a Retro Review, a feature where we'd spend some time on old toy from yesteryear (wait until you see SilntAngl's review of the 1987 G.I. Joe Techno-Viper).
Well, the two ideas seemed fairly congruent and we decided that the first batch of Retro Reviews would work backwards from DC Classics Wave 7 until the beginning. That was the plan anyway. Some technical issues have forced us to skip Wave 7 (for now). So, what better than to get the most difficult-to-find, gnashing of teeth wave out of the way first? Yep, our very first retroview will focus on the ire of many a DCUC collector, the Wal-Mart Exclusive Wave 5.

If you were expecting the Crimson Avenger article I promised last week... well, I got distracted.* We don't normally do Masters of the Universe in this column, cause well, there's two options when it comes to MOTU stuff. Either I'm going to be asking for something sooner rather than later (Kronis getting two arms is more about absorbing Man-E-Faces' cost, right?) or I'm going to be silly and go for a lost cause (like the Wind Raider Pilot). But today's featured figure might straddle that line. He's one of those characters like Ram-Man or King Hiss that's going to require a lot of tooling on Mattel's part. That makes him definitely later rather than sooner and possibly a lost cause if things go awry.
The Four Horsemen have a great sale going on at their online store, StoreHorsemen, that will be active until the end of the year. And, just in time for Christmas, they've added a new variant of Queen Alluxandra in swimsuit attire!
ToyFare #150 went on sale yesterday (12/9) and among it's pages we saw the world premiere of MOTUC Evil Lyn, some future Wal-Mart exclusives DC 2pks (via ActionFigurePics.Com), and an article on the future of the DC Direct Blackest Night line (be sure to check out the magazine for pictures of Black Lantern Batman and a WIP Arkillo!)
