BlueCanoeStew has posted a list of what he believes is the lineup for DCUC12 on the ToyBuzz @ RTM.

  • Iron
  • Mary Marvel (White suit variant)
  • Desaad
  • Spectre (glow in the dark variant)
  • Dr Midnite
  • Copperhead
  • Eclipso
  • C&C Darkseid

You might be asking who is BlueCanoeStew? Well, he’s the poster that broke news of Robotman and Beast Boy being in the Wal-Mart Exclusive Wave 10. Poe Ghostal has the lowdown on BCS’s Wave 10 post here.

Now, it may not be gospel because his Wave 10 information had a Static figure in the lineup and that it wouldn’t be the Wal-Mart wave. On the other hand, his information is syncing up with what we’re hearing in Wave 12 Discussion threads on AFI & Fwoosh so there may be something to it.

It could be accurate or it could be way off, we’ll each have to decide for ourselves. And with SDCC just two weeks ago, it seems unlikely we’ll have an official announcement from Mattel anytime soon.

  1. If this list is accurate, I have mixed feelings about it.

    I’m excited about getting any Metal Men.

    I want Mary, but that black costume throws a wrench in the works. I might just want black/white versions, but red is classic!

    Desaad will be awesome. Bring on the vibro-shocker!

    Spectre should be good too. I’m not sure about a GID variant though. I’m assuming Corrigan on this one, so I’d rather have a variant with a Crispus Allen head. I wouldn’t mind a Hal had on his body to make that version of the Spectre either.

    On Dr. Mid-Nite, I’m feeling the opposite of Spectre and expecting the modern version. That will be sweet. I do want a classic version if they get to a second one.

    Copperhead and Eclipso will be done well, but I’m not excited for either.

    And I’m not interested in the C&C Darkseid. I like the height/bulk on the one we have from DCSH and I’m concerned about how big some of the folks that want a C&C Darkseid want him to be.

  2. I want Black Mary!!! I wish Mattel would pick one, red or white, and make the Black a variant. It’s current and it makes for a much more exciting figure. Please, Mattel!! (_ _)/

  3. Metal Men before Martian Manhunter? I think Mattel got our MM requests confused.

  4. If a DCUC wave could pegwarm this might be it. There’s not an anchor to speak of, a play pattern of Spectre and Eclipso is a stretch.

    The variants are even worse. There’s 3 Spectres and they’re goin with a cheap GID feature. And Mary Marvel may have 3 versions that need representation, but the Iron Metal Man could easily be a gold one with a new head.

    1. This wave reminds me of Wave 8, and it could pegwarm (we’ll know soon), but I think this wave would be okay. The anchors are supposedly all A-list figures.

  5. while i won’t mind a c&c darkseid since mine is floppy but good enough that if i don’t want the wave i can skip him, i just thought doomsday would be the first existing figure to get redone as a c&c. he’s the one i feel needs the treatment the most.

    1. I agree with that, BCS was wrong about Static (We got Black Bats), so I’m hoping he’s wrong on this front and we get Doomsday instead.
