Two weeks in & I’m still unpacking, installing fixtures, & assembling new furniture. I haven’t had much “toy time”, but luckily some of my fellow toy bloggers have graciously stepped in for Guest Review Week III! Today’s post comes from a site that has fast become a favorite of mine, Preternia.com!
We’ve seen a few bi-weekly round-ups of late, but never fear – Review Round-Up is still planned as a weekly feature and should be back on track by February. For the glass half-full crowd, the first Review Round-Up of the New Year is kicking things off with a massive two-week’s worth of reviews!
In our never ending quest to get caught up on toy reviews, I’ll be taking a look at a figure that originally came out way back in November. Like Swamp Thing, Constantine is a character that I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately he didn’t live up to my expectations.
Normally, I’d prefer to post the Review Index updates on the first of the month, but 2013 has started with a roar and I can’t believe January is already half over! Nonetheless, the Indexes could all use a little love and I kicked things off with the IAT & Battlegrip Review Indexes! 
When the MOTU Classics line first began to pick up steam, Noisy and I started going through the more obscure MOTU characters to see who might get made. We ran across Procrustus early on, but didn’t have high hopes that this four armed giant would ever get made.
Today was supposed to be my grand return to getting IAT back on schedule. Well, I managed to lose the box with my camera & photo shoot gear, like the infamous blue backdrop, and it’s nearly noon as I finally get started writing. So let’s just call this a slow rollout as we get caught up on Mattycollector items!
I was surprised to discover the new Transformers Prime Beast Hunters figures at my local Toys "R" Us already. After pushing aside the familiar yellow plague that is Bumblebee, my choice of which one to buy was made even easier by the horrible paint job on Soundwave’s face plate.
