Just when I thought I didn’t have to worry about getting any of the New York Comic Con exclusives, Hasbro went and made a Transformers Prime two pack. Luckily there were plenty left over after the show and I was able to snag one from their toy shop. 
I had five dollars of Geoffrey Bucks burning a hole in my pocket, so I headed down to Toys R Us to see what I'd find. But our TRU’s been lacking in decent restocks lately, and I didn’t want to buy anything too expensive. Hello Imaginext Triceratops. 
I’ve been obsessively watching the current Japanese Power Rangers show, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. The hard part has been keeping my show related purchases to a minimum while I wait for the real action figures to arrive. That wait is finally coming to an end. 
I don’t pay much attention to McFarlane toys anymore. I’m not interested in sports, and, back when I did buy their figures, they were more statue than toy and had a tendency to break. So I was shocked to see how cool The Walking Dead figures turned out to be. 
I love dinosaurs, ray guns, skeletons in astronaut suits, comic books where the main character is being run out of town by an angry mob, and robot girls. You can never have enough robot women around, especially the cute ones, which is why I had to buy the newest Aegis figure. 
Any of you have a Holy Grail? A toy that you covet so much that it becomes an obsession in your hunting? That’s what this Samus Aran figure is for me. After years of searching I was finally able to acquire one for a reasonable trade. Definitely feels good. 
After countless weeks of continuous searching at my local ToysRUs, Target, and Wal-Marts, I finally found my Reveal the Shield Lugnut at TJ Maxx. Not that I mind, since he was considerably cheaper than first-run retail. I just wish I didn’t have to wait so long to get this fantastic figure.
