MattyCollector.Com: Sneak Peek of Battle Cat in Package

Last night, Mattycollector.com’s News Section was updated with a first look at Battle Cat in package:

MOTU Battle Cat® Sneak Preview

MOTU Fans!

You’ve been patiently (and for some, impatiently) waiting for the Fighting Tiger of Eternia® to arrive. While you’ll still have to wait just a little bit longer, here’s your first official sneak peak at the packaging for Battle Cat®!

Battle Cat® is the first beast figure in the MOTU line. This fully-articulated, incredibly detailed figure has been crafted so He-Man® fits in the saddle (as will most other MOTU characters) so he can securely ride his iconic green feline into battle! He comes with removable armor and helmet, his saddle holds the Sword of Power, and it’s all packed safely in a window box package.

This cool kitty goes on sale Monday, February 15th, and as always MattyCollector.com is the only place you’ll find guaranteed genuine Masters of the Universe® figures. We can send a reminder right to your inbox, so click here to register for email. I also announce reminders on Twitter so follow me there, too!

The helmet is a little off the head inside the package but hopefuly that’s resolved before February. Otherwise, it looks great to me. I can’t wait to have Battle Armor He-Man atop Battle Cat. Here’s the bio from what I can tell:

Battle Cat
Real Name: Cringer
A member of the Green Tiger Tribe, Cringer was saved from a parek-narr attack by a young Prince Adam and afterwards became his devoted companion for life. He assisted Adam during his quest to unite both halves of the Power Sword of He and afterwards was enhanced by its power to become Battle Cat the fighting tiger of He-Man. Cringer is one of only a handful of allies who knows Adam’s secret and fights alongside the other Masters of the Universe, carrying He-Man into battle against the forces of evil.

  1. That figure (vehicle?) could be a work of an art. Too bad it will be flawed somehow when it arrives from Mattel.

  2. Looks sweet.

I hope Matty puts up some shots of the 12 inch Zod soon because I’m not sure I’m willing to throw down the money for him if I haven’t seen pictures.

  3. He’s going to sell out so fast/hard. It will suck. Since Matty is worried about how we have to see, I’m really afraid they didn’t make enough.

BC is so intrinsic to He-Man, they should have done as many of him as they’re doing for the monthlies and just let it sell out over time. It surely would.

  4. i can’t lie… this pic gave me half a chub. the greatest “vehicle” in all toydom is nearing his greatest incarnation… how anyone can’t be excited i wouldn’t know.
