While checking out the various aisles at my local Target, I was floored the other day. I’m always happy to check out what Fisher-Price has to offer in the way of DC Comics characters, but I didn’t expect to find an awesome Imaginext version of one of my fondest childhood toylines. 
So this weekend, I bought a Masters of the Universe toy at Walmart. You can imagine my surprise. There I am, stumbling across some Hot Wheels because frickin’ Walmart felt the need to swap die-cast & figures in their latest reset. I’m suddenly lost, but then there’s something familiar: He-Man.
It’s been a while since I’ve been excited for an entire wave of DC Direct figures. The first wave of Batman, Incorporated figures are out and I actually bought three of the four released. But my favorite figure of the wave is Damian in his Robin Costume. 
I know. Apache Chief is late for Apache Chief Week. But he's the star, right? Give the guy some slack!! Okay, it’s really me that needs it! It’s been a difficult week for DC Universe Classics Collectors and it’s been similarly difficult for me to work on these reviews.
It seems Apache Chief Week was just too ginormous to fit into a standard workweek! We’ve got one figure left before we get to the big man himself, a late addition to the Hanna-Barbera Super Friends cartoon and one DC character that I was sure wouldn't get a figure, El Dorado.
Out of all the teams in the DC Universe, I never thought the Legion of Doom would be completed before the end of the line. But with the addition of DCUC18’s Toyman we now have a complete roster to go up against their Superfriends counterparts. Our 30 year wait is over! 
Captain Boomerang is one of those strange characters that really shouldn’t be popular. He’s the essence of a stereotypical villain with a lame costume, yet he’s able to persevere where other lame characters like Angle Man couldn’t. Even I have to admit I wanted a figure of this crazy Aussie.
