Mr. Rant’s “5 Reasons You Should Buy R.E.B.E.L.S”

Ok readers, listen up. I was going over the sales figures for DC comics recently and noticed a grave injustice. The book R.E.B.E.L.S. is one of the worst selling DC titles. Now, you may ask, “Mr. Rant, why should I care about such a thing? That book doesn’t have a Superman or Batman or Hal Jordan, so who cares if it goes?”

Well, Johnny Comic-Book-Reader, I care. And if I care about something, so should you. Why else would you be reading this article? So, without further adieu, the top five reasons you should be buying R.E.B.E.L.S.

Mr. Rant may not live to see the end of “Blackest Night”

The recent news from DC editorial is that Blackest Night will never end. I don’t know if you've seen this yet, but apparently this January, the main horde of Blackest Night books and their tie-ins will be taking a break. You know, because they’ve been working hard all year now, they need the rest. But don’t worry readers, because your wallet won't have to go unused. Instead of shipping the core titles and tie-ins, DC is going to resurrect a bunch of cancelled books. That’s right, no book is safe. If you stopped buying Weird Western Tales in 1977 with a complete run, then you better pick up that upcoming Previews. Not only will you not have a complete run if you don’t order it, but you’ll also never get to see how both sides of Jonah Hex’s face will match.

Teams: The Results!

We hadn’t planned on Monday being a follow-up to our Saturday Most Requested column about completing teams in the DC Classics line, but the tremendous response to our article made us want to crunch the numbers and see which teams and what characters our readers wanted. Besides, with DCUC9 not anywhere nearby, what else does a bunch of blogging toy collectors have to do all weekend? :D

Before we get knee deep in pie charts, we want to take a minute to thank everyone who participated. That was the biggest response we'd had to an article in the history of the site! You really blew us away all day Saturday. Thank you.

Most Requested Figures: DCUC: Finishing Teams

Toy collectors are an interesting bunch. We're a diverse group of people with different backgrounds, different tastes, different opinions. Sometimes it seems like we might have very little in common other than the love of toys, but there is a common factor we see in a lot of toy collections. We at ItsAllTrue like to group our action figures into subteams and we're not the only ones.
