When Elasti-Girl arrived at the end of the last month, the first thing I said was, “finally.” If you’d asked me back in 2008 for my “Top Ten Characters that Need to be C&Cs” list, Elasti-Girl would’ve easily been in my top three. Instead, she ended up being what might be the last great oversized figure.
Have I ever mentioned I loathe fan polls? (I know I have, but it’s fun to ask). I’ve been thinking about them a lot while photographing DC Universe Classics Metron. He’s just (about) right, but I’m also glad that he’s not “Red Rocket” or Black Lantern Swamp Thing.
S.T.R.I.P.E. Week is nearing its conclusion with my review of the last regular figure in the JSA themed wave, the Golden Age version of Hawkman. We’ve been waiting a long time for this particular figure, and he actually turned out pretty well for what's mostly redeco. 
It’s my first review up for S.T.R.I.P.E. Week and I thought I’d kick it off with the surprisingly cool figure of Magog. Although this figure is technically based on a newer character, the original design was one of the more interesting 90’s creations.
