This Week in the Green Room

  • Most Requested gets a week off after the big vote, but in the Most Requested thread, members are still sharing their nominations for future articles. A lot of folks are talking Micronauts, but I’ve never had one. Did I miss out as a kid or what?
  • The MOTU Classics thread has turned into a support group for those saddened by Tytus’ lack of articulation. He may clock in at a little over 12″, but he’s only got around 14 POA. Still, he’s a lot cheaper than the vintage one some of us have been wanting for years.
  • DC Classics discussion is again on the “can’t find new ones” cycle. Well, we did find the Wal-Mart 2pks, but we were too conflicted to make the purchase. That creamy blue Manta sure is dreamy though…
  • The Outer Space Men speculation is still ongoing while we anxiously await the Four Horsemen’s next announcement. How will the Glyos system be incorporated? How much will they cost? We’re not sure, but we’re still guessing.
  • Manekochan submitted her latest Dangos (smilies) for the message boards. We haven’t loaded them all up yet, but she does great work. You have to check out her Doctor Who dango.
  • And Ebonhorn is still trying to tempt us with threeA figs. The mini de plumes are just my size…

  1. And we’re talking Lego, Movies, Cooking, Trnsformers, and so much more. Now if its an Edumacation you is wanting on Micronauts I might have something in mind. Stay tuned

    1. Ooooo, don’t be such a tease Tek. =)

Hey, if you need a Micronauts clinic, Tek is your Micro-maniac! (Microniac? Hey, did I just coin a name?)

  2. this is a great idea, having a forum teaser for us lurkers… you naughty boys.

  3. Noisy, your mention of Manta as “creamy” is horrifying.

This makes my voyaging into yon IAT Forums even less likely.

    1. Dang, wouldn’t this comment just make a perfect post? I think so! 🙂 😉

  4. About the Tytus complaints I’m suddenly seeing all over the place. Seems like this was known back in February when Scott answered some questions saying the figure would be priced much higher if they went through with it.

Just be glad you’re getting him released at all. And if you’re not buying him, hope the scalpers buy enough for it to sell out fast enough and not change Matty’s mind about offering other larger scale beasts/vehclies in the future.

    1. Pixel Dan’s Tytus review has resparked the debate. It’s kinda been a sliding scale of removed articulation ever since he debuted. I just hope he doesn’t lose anymore points before he gets released. 😉
