Five more reveals from the GIJCC, leaving only Bombstrike as the last reveal, and one week left before the signup window closes. I gotta say, I’m still on the fence. Of the first six reveals, only Spearhead/Max, Pysche-Out, & Muskrat really caught my attention. I was really looking forward to this set of reveals, but Hit & Run without heavy green camo paint? That’s a swing & miss! Repeater looks good, but he should have black hair. And I know Slice is just a photoshop mock-up, but I hope his tampo is stars and not netting. Big Ben does look pretty awesome though, there’s that. I just see a lot of maybes here and it makes me not sure of my final “Want” count.

As an aside, and this is purely my own commentary, but I think the club needs to have more fun. Why tone down the colors on Spearhead? Why not give Hit & Run the green camo facepaint? Why not give Slice his stars? We loved these toys as kids enough to want them again, this is a nostalgia line, so why dial them back?

You can now place your pre-order for the GIJCC FSS 3.0! The order period ends July 1st, 2014. We will build this set to your order. You will have until that time to process your order. Over the next few weeks we will be showing all of the figures (except the mystery 13th figure), so that they will all be online before the order period ends. The cost of the subscription will be $315 if paid in full, or $105 per installment (3x) plus the online service charge for each billing.

Currently we anticipate that the first figures will ship in late October, but that is still TBD until we receive the final schedule from the manufacturer. When the shipment arrives, we will publish the two dates for the second and third installments. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The FSS 3.0 subscription set will consist of twelve different carded 3 3/4″ figures. You will receive six shipments starting in approximately October/November of two figures each month. Figures will be shipped in a surprise sequence (figure pairs will be the same for everyone each month). It will be a surprise each month as to which figure pair you receive!

Your last shipment (6th shipment) will include your mystery carded 13th figure!

  1. VYPRA and the IMMORTAL interest me but I just can’t spend this amount of money on a line that I have not displayed in years. More than a dozen vehicles and hundreds of figures sitting in storage and I always choose something else when its time to rotate what’s on the shelf.

  2. Still have my VvV Bombstrike and will compare when finally see her. Though just fig gear dunno about. The 5 shown I like but no big standouts. If see at a con or toy show may buy though.

  3. They revealed Bombstrike today. She’s about the only one of this lineup I’d pay money for, but I sure as heck won’t subscribe just to get her.

  4. great point about club needing to have more fun with these.
a lot of these are way too conservative in their deco.
they end up seeming like boring ROC inspired figures instead of the glorious vintage updates they should be.
