While the news here at IAT will mainly stick with lines that Vault or I collect, this one falls under an oddity that it’s just cool. I don’t think I have a real need for these, but in light of all those 12″ 5-POA thingies hanging around at retail this is prety cool.

The Disney Stores, as part of their “We Own Star Wars” May 4th celebration have some great exclusive product. There’s some cool plush, costumes, and such (check out the full list with pics at Yakface), but what really caught my attention where these 12″ talking figures. Again, I don’t need 12″ Star Wars or talking toys in general, but [most of] these look fantastic:

It looks to be Star Wars Black even more grown up. The sculpts are nifty (the non-likenesses are better; not sure what happened to Luke and, as my wife says, Harrison Ford is just too handsome for a toy to capture), the articulation looks fun, and you get some light-up features and sounds for around $30. Snazzy. Now if only I had a Disney Store…
