Wonder Festival
Winter 2012 (Part 1)

While we were anxiously awaiting news from New York Toy Fair, Japan was celebrating the modern action figure with Winter Wonder Festival 2012.  Over the next two days we’ll be updating with coverage, Q&A, and a ton of great pictures from the show.

Before we get started I’d like to thank Kaiyodo for allowing us to cover this event. And I’d also like to thank Robert Baldwin for the great job he’s done – before you get deep into the galleries, check out Robert’s article on the forum.  He gives his view of the event and wraps up with questions for the various companies like Kaiyodo and Good Smile!

Like last time, we’ve broken down the galleries by categories to make finding things a bit easier. Also, don’t forget to check back tomorrow for more updates!

Gallery A – Good Smile Co.

Gallery B – Good Smile Co.

Gallery C – Fewture, Dimension Diver, & Misc.

Gallery D – Statues

Gallery E – Kaiju

Gallery F – Jewelry, & Misc.

  1. holy freaky jeebus… some great photos man. i’m over here drooling. why oh why must all the cool robots be japanese? and seriously, why has the entire world not openly acknowledged that all robotics developers must allow the japanese all final design approval? cuz for real, that whole culture just designs the most awesome robots… they and the germans. that’s it though, everyone else’s robots suck.
