Seems like just a few days ago I was opening a gigantic box packed full of various MOTU and DC figures. But that was actually way back in June, and now that it’s almost August I thought I’d better catch up before that San Diego Comic-con package gets here.
As I’ve said, I hate the post-SDCC subscription period. It’s a study in frustration. First comes the uncertainty of if we’ll even hit the minimum. Then we transition into anger & fighting, bargaining & bullying, and depression. Strangely, some folks want pre-orders, so that we can party like this all year.
Turtle fever sure is going around in the collecting community of late. Vault was sucked in when he found the new Nickelodeon figures at TRU. I held out until I saw the Classic Turtles at my LCS and… well, I didn’t buy any… the first day. I went back the next!
Hey there, folks! Now that San Diego Comic Con has come and gone, we're gearing up for something just as special: our 4 Year Anniversary! From August 2nd, 2012 to September 2nd, 2012 our 4th Anniversary promotion will be in effect!
Onell Design is having their July drop tonight! This drop features nearly everything in the main Glyos line in a fantastic military green color scheme and a few unexpected surprises! In addition to the figure release, there’s some great new content expanding the Glyos universe on tap as well!
I didn’t want all that much from San Diego Comic Con this year. There was the annual Mattel offerings of MOTU Classics (which I got), and Monster High (which I didn’t get). Other than that, my only real target was Bluefin’s SH Monsterarts Godzilla exclusive.
ItsAllTrue.Net kinda sorta missed its birthday a few weeks ago (July 1st), but I still wanted to post and give a shout out to our readers for three great years. Both Vault and I really appreciate that so many of you keep coming back to read our silly missives. Thank you!
