While checking out the various aisles at my local Target, I was floored the other day. I’m always happy to check out what Fisher-Price has to offer in the way of DC Comics characters, but I didn’t expect to find an awesome Imaginext version of one of my fondest childhood toylines.

So this weekend, I bought a Masters of the Universe toy at Walmart. You can imagine my surprise. There I am, stumbling across some Hot Wheels because frickin’ Walmart felt the need to swap die-cast & figures in their latest reset. I’m suddenly lost, but then there’s something familiar: He-Man.

While we’re waiting on the fate of the subscription, I thought it’d be interesting to take a look at the upcoming case assortments for DC Universe Classics Wave 20. Mattel mentioned that the new DC line would offer them some flexibility and DCUC20 might just be a window into their intentions.

It’s been a while since I’ve been excited for an entire wave of DC Direct figures. The first wave of Batman, Incorporated figures are out and I actually bought three of the four released. But my favorite figure of the wave is Damian in his Robin Costume.

It seems Apache Chief Week was just too ginormous to fit into a standard workweek! We’ve got one figure left before we get to the big man himself, a late addition to the Hanna-Barbera Super Friends cartoon and one DC character that I was sure wouldn't get a figure, El Dorado.
