On their blog, NECA has revealed their highly anticpated Alien Queen figure! She’s kind of a big deal.
In honor of the 35th Anniversary of the Alien franchise, NECA has created our most massive and most ambitious Aliens figure ever!
The terrifying Xenomorph Queen is based on her appearance in the 1986 Aliens film. She stands over 15″ tall and is over 30″ long, with over 30 points of articulation, including a spectacular poseable tail. Bring some of the movie’s most thrilling scenes to life in realistic detail, because the Queen is completely in scale with our current Alien action figure line.
Includes a display stand and two different interchangeable inner mouths. Look for it to be released in October 2014.

There’s an item of ‘related news’ linked at the bottom of NECA’s announcement that confirms Ripley and appears to confirm the exo.
At first I thought it was a new announcement, and was all “Whoa, Ripley!”, then I saw it was dated Feb 14 and was all “Where have I been?”, but it could be that the excitement at seeing the Queen has erased all previous Alien-toy-related memories, since it’s pretty damn rad (in addition to making me talk like a late 80s surfer).

Looks great but where can i put it???? I want to see more Marines and I hope SDCC reveals some new ones. Would love to see Ripley soon…
