Amazing Spider-Man 2 Figure!"},"content":{"rendered":"

I’m a little late on this, but last week Hot Toys debuted a new Spider-Man 1\/6 Scale Figure based on the new soon-to-be released film. As you’ll see in upcoming reviews my hard “80s rule” on Hot Toys purchases has been strangled to death (I blame Kevin Fiege & the folks at Marvel for this) with purchases of multiple Iron Men & Captain America figures. This has me wondering if I want a Spider-Man to crossover on my shelves; even it can never happen on film. <\/p>\n

Details for the figure are below, including some funky accessories, but I’m looking at the shiny, not-really-fabric-y suit and wondering. How is that going to hold up? Any of my loyal readers planning on snagging this guy or have previous experience with past figures in non-cloth costumes? It looks pretty slick and the the alternate half-hands are nifty!<\/p>\n

The Amazing Spider-Man 2:Spider-Man Collectible Figure<\/p>\n

The amazing Spider-Man is swinging back onto the silver screen this season! It is great to be Spider-Man, but it also comes at a big price and Spider-Man will find his greatest battle is just about to begin!<\/p>\n

In anticipation to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hitting the theatres, Hot Toys is excited to introduce the new 1\/6th scale Spider-Man Collectible Figure. The movie-accurate Spider-Man collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Spider-Man in the film. It features a newly developed Spider-Man suit, highly detailed accessories, and figure stand with flexible pillar for dynamic posing. A special edition that is available for selected markets will include an additional 1\/6th scale plutonium canister and a specially designed Spider-Man artwork cover for dynamic figure stand.<\/p>\n
