Vault Review: Force Unleashed Shaak Ti

Sadly, there is one problem with her look. Shaak Ti’s body and face are two different colors. The body is molded in a dull brownish red. While her head is molded white and painted a brighter red. Neither color matches the game model’s skin tone either. This isn’t a deal breaker for me, but it’s a disappointing detail on an otherwise great looking figure.

In true jungle girl fashion, Shaak Ti only comes with the one accessory. Her lightsaber has a silver hilt with a light blue translucent beam and can fit in either hand. She also comes with a Droid Factory piece. Droid Factory is the ingenious implementation of the Build-a-Figure theme applied to the Star Wars line. Shaak Ti comes with the left arm to BG-J38. Yeah, I don’t know who that is either. Anyone want it?

All around, this version of Shaak Ti is a great figure. I mean, how can you say no to bikini-clad Star Wars girls? The loincloth and skin tone issues are annoying, but I’m able to look past that, especially for the price. Shaak Ti retails for around $8. If only more figures could have such good consistency for that low of a price.

  1. I’ve been waiting for this figure to be released. The Force Unleashed was a pretty good game, but it really made me care about Shaak Ti, who until that point was just another Prequel background Jedi to me. I just wish the figure for Maris was half this good, or that figures of the Apprentice were easier to find.

    1. Yeah, I saw Marek in that new box set. I was a little tempted to get it, but didn’t want to shell out the money.

  2. Got this fig and the rest of the TRU exclusive wave + the Galen Marek Force Unleashed packs at TRU about 2 weeks ago while they still had all their SW stuff on sale! ^_^

Scored some cool figs and at a VERY affordable price!

    Nice review, btw! 😉

  3. Cool looking figure, I have considered picking up a few Star Wars figures here and there to fill out my 3 and 3/4″ universe some.

    1. She’s really a great looking figure. You might want to grab her if you see her.

  4. This is one of the all-time greatest female figures ever done in any scale – that it’s part of a mass-market line like Star Wars is almost unreal.

That said Hasbro have tried their best to hide it by making it a TRU Scalper friendly exclusive.
