As part of Monday’s DC solicits, DC Direct announced two new waves of Blackest Night figures, wave seven in November and wave eight in December. With wave six already on the schedule for November 3rd, that’s going to make for an avalanche of new figures right before the holidays. There’s some nice surprises including an oversized Arkillo, a 2-pack of smaller figures, more Black Lanterns, and more deputized lanterns including the very first Mera, our 2009 Most Requested Figure<\/a>, in 6″ form! <\/p>\n

\nBLACKEST NIGHT SERIES 7 ACTION FIGURES<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hugely successful BLACKEST NIGHT action figure line continues! <\/p>\n

Included in this seventh installment of the series are: Black Lantern Superman, back from the dead…again; Sinestro Corps Member Arkillo, dissenter defeated, forever forced to wear his traitorous tongue around his neck; Red Lantern Mera, with a rage-filled heart, she allows the Red Ring of Power to drown her; Black Lantern Terra with Scar, resurrected to prey on the hearts of her former team members, Terra teams with near-death survivor Scar in an effort to eradicate all emotion in the Universe.<\/p>\n

All five figures feature multiple points of articulation and include a display base. Character-appropriate accessories are also included.<\/p>\n
