Couldn’t convince your significant other that Toy Fair was more important than Valentine’s Day? It’sAllTrue.Net has you covered. We’re not at Toy Fair this year, but we’re providing our Armchair Coverage and keeping up on the latest news coming out of New York. We’ve got tons of news from the weekend and we’ll be adding more until Toy Fair wraps up, so check back often!

First, we’d like to thank everyone that kept checking in on our Twitter widget (now located in the right sidebar) over the weekend to get the latest Armchair Coverage. We also want to thank all the great sites who were able to attend the convention and beam us back those great images and the latest news (a list of them will follow at the bottom of this post). And a special shout out to the IAT wives and girlfriends during this ill-timed event. We do love toys, but we love you too, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. And yes, we’ll let you pick the movie this weekend…

Now, let’s dig into what we saw and where you need to go to see it too.

Hasbro

Marvel Universe:
Battlegrip.com has some great pics in their Flickr account. That Rolling Battle Headquarters from Iron Man 2 cracks me up.

Samuron at ActionFigurePics has thorough coverage of the booth at his site and ToyArk has some video of the presentation. A Mary Jane MU figure makes me laugh, but then I saw that it comes with Ms. Lion! I think I have to buy it. The biggest thing I’ve seen for Marvel universe is actually the biggest thing for Marvel Universe – Galactus (via ActionFigurePics).

MarvelousNews has some Marvel panel images including the last ML 2pks. The three that were voted on by fans have been combined with the Hasbro choices to make the following 2pks: Valkyrie/Hulk, Deadpool/Warpath, and Black Widow/Winter Soldier. A great shot of Winter Soldier can be found here and the others can be seen at Marvelous News. The <a href="http://i.marvelousnews.com/g/index.php?mode=view&album=2010_Toy_Fair%2FHasbro%2FPanel%2F&pic=Black_Widow.jpg&dispsize=600&start=0" target="_blank rel="nofollow">Black Widow figure is uh… well, better than the last one? You’ll see…

Transformers:
There’s a ton of stuff to see for Transformers. Though I’m not up on every single figure, it’s cool that Hasbro is rebranding the line “the Hunt for Decepticons” similar to how the Joes are in “Pursuit of Cobra” for 2010. I can tell you there are some figures I’m going to have to have: Seaspray and Hubcap are going to be coming home with me when I find them. Great pics at TFW2005 and the aforementioned Figures.Com. I really like the two figures based on the War for Cybertron game in particular. ASMZine has pictures of Transformers and Marvel Weeble Wobbles. That blew my mind. I’ll probably be reminding myself that I don’t need those more than once.

Star Wars:
JediTempleArchives has a great page up covering the different facets of the line that were announced today with articles that cover their galleries. There’s a lot of info on the “new” vintage line and I love the squashdown AT-AT almost as much as the big one. Speaking of the large AT-AT, the Star Wars Blog has some information up on it and this Facebook gallery has the slides – the exclusive half-Maul vs. Owen Lars 2pk has me really intrigued… Also, Poe Ghostal has a post up about the mail-in vintage Boba Fett. It’s really cool. I kinda want it and I don’t buy hardly any Star Wars figures.

G.I. Joe:
ToyNewsi has an extensive Joe Gallery up. A lot of stuff seems leftover from JoeCon, but there’s plenty of new items too. HissTank.Com has some great video walkthroughs up including a detailed look at the new Hiss Tank. There’s a new black version of one of my favorite Joe vehicles, the A.W.E. Striker, with some great muddy details but I’m really loving the new 4-seater VAMP. The awesome crimson Cobra Commander that was planned to be a mail-in when we first saw it at JoeCon has been downgraded to a “chase” figure. That sucks. Plus, the cool drone that was supposed to come with him is in limbo. That’s disappointing.

And then there was Mattel…

First up, Pixel Dan has a sixteen minute video of the Mattel Q & A up at PopCultureNetwork.com.

Masters of the Universe Classics:

Of all the reveals this weekend, it was MOTU that bowled me over. It was Mattel that fired the warning shot across the bow by releasing six photos on their Facebook page. They had a simple two-table setup for MOTU, but it held a ton of new items. We got our first look at the giant Tytus and the gorilla Gygor (via CoolToyReview). They join Battle Cat as quarterly large scale figures for quarter two and quarter three respectively. Also on display was the first Weapons Pack (via ToyNewsI). It’s awesome – it makes me want to buy some extra figures to change out the armor and make some “new” characters.

Fans also got their first look at the at the Mo-Larr Skeletor 2pk(via ToyNewsI) being sold this year at SDCC. I was hoping Mo-Larr wouldn’t be cool, but he is and he’s loaded with five accessories. <Sigh> I simply have to find a way to get him. The Skeletor he comes packaged with has a new “worried” head with a tooth missing. I’m hearing this will be $40 at comicon. No word if it will be available on Matty after the show. Then there’s the DC vs MOTU 2pks, we’ve already knew about Superman/He-Man, but the show also had Luthor vs. Skeletor on display (via ToyNewsI). Luthor is the same from the 2pk we reviewed on Thursday and Skeletor has comic colors and the gold power sword from the Art Show.

And that’s not all. There’s still the regular figures to talk about! A 200x inspired Count Marzo, She-Ra, and Whiplash were all on display and are regular releases. Keldor was on hand as the next quarterly bonus figure. The best part is all the figures look great as always. It’s going to be a fun spring as a MOTU subscriber. ASMZine has a great gallery for the MOTU singles. Be sure to check out the Keldor head – it’s excellent.

DC Classics:

Mattel was mostly relying on the awesomeness of Wave 14 (via CoolToyReview) to carry them through the Toy Fair, but they also trotted out 2-ups of Tomar Re and Guy Gardner for the fans. AFI let fans know that these two figures are part of an upcoming GL 5pk (June) that will also include a gray-templed Hal Jordan, Mosaic John Stewart, and Sinestro as a Green Lantern. For more DCUC news, check out <a href=http://www.thefwoosh.com/2010/02/toy-fair-2010-dc-universe-classics" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the Fwoosh for some updates from Cornboy and an interview with Toy Guru himself. For a full article on DCUC, you have to go with ActionFigurePics. He’s got a ton of great news including that the speculation on Wave 15 being exclusive to Target was incorrect. So what are those missing numbers from the WM computer? Who knows. Also, I’m with Samuron – I can’t believe the Sinestro would look better on a Hal buck than it would on a Deadman. That’s crazy talk! On a side note, if the Zatanna 2up ever turns up missing – I swear it wasn’t me.

Wave thirteen was on display too (via ActionFigurePics), giving us an update on the wave. Blue Beetle is sporting some sweet add-on pieces (via ActionFigurePics). Finally, I have dogged on the Negative Man variant a lot, but I should know better. Thanks to some closeups at Toy Fair (via ActionFigurePics) it appears you can see his skull through the transparent face. That makes that figure a must own. Those 4H, they always, ALWAYS get you. Every time.

JLU/DCIH/Retro/BatB:

If you were a JLU fan, you were probably shocked like I was to finally see… Lobo? (via CoolToyReview). He looks awesome and will be released on Matty this summer. For JLU fans, it’s great to get another show depicted character. A Manhunter robot & Despero were also shown along with a variety of repacks and repaints (finally a show-accurate Batman!! – 8 years!!).

Check out CoolToyReview for their gallery of non-DCUC DC items.

Ghostbusters:
I’ve gotta say, I was a little disappointed by the Ghostbusters product. I like the blue ghost (via CoolToyReview) that comes with “We’re ready to believe you” Ray, but enough to buy another Ray? I don’t know. I want to support the line, but I’m not sure how many variants I’m up for. Walter Peck’s new body looks great and it looks like we’re getting a trap along with the Containment Unit, that’s cool. Slimed Venkman does look to be released before regular Venkman (as was the plan) and his pack-in is… Slimer with his tongue out (via CoolToyReview). Other than that, there wasn’t much Ghostbusters news to be had. I’m really to the point that I’m ready for some “Real” Ghostbusters news if you catch my drift… Check out CTR for some good Ghostbusters pics.

WWE:
I’m still having to learn to get back in the groove on wrestling figures, but I know it’s cool that Mattel had Triple H swing by for the big event.ActionFigurePics has video from the event, the official press release, and a ton of pics.

Diamond Select Toys

CoolToyReview has a good gallery of DST items up. DST is investing in Universal Monsters this year and the figures look great. But I’m more interested in the Minimates versions. I particularly love the Minimate sarcophagus (via @CTR) . Speaking of Minimates, I’m really enjoying the original police officers and firefighters (via @CTR) and the Shuttlecraft Galileo (via @CTR) , but Minimate Pirates (via @CTR) are going to set me back some money. And that’s not counting the cool Iron Man (via @CTR) & Tarot (via @CTR) minimates.

It’s not all minimates though, there are plenty of other items in the DST booth too like Marvel Select, Star Trek props, etc. So head over to CoolToyReview to check those out. One concern I do have is that they have only the Enterprise-B (via @CTR) on display along with a Kligon BoP – where’s the Excelsior?

Bandai

I don’t follow Bandai but ASMZine has some good pictures up for you if you’re a Power Rangers or Ben 10 fan. But I do spy four more squashdowns and still no Rita. Thanks, Bandai.

BifBangPow

BBP has really split the Venture Bros fanbase with their Mego style figures. Some hate ’em, some love ’em. AFI has good shots of the figures here & here .

DC Direct

CoolToyReview has added a great gallery of DC Direct stuff. I knew there had to be Blackest Night figures somewhere in there. Sadly, I don’t see any new figures in the gallery, but it’s nice to see the upcoming stuff again. The Ame-Comi’s keep getting better too. I love the Jade in particular. I’m really impressed by Arisia’s headsculpt even though I know that she’ll be way too big for my DCUC collection though I really think I’m going to break that rule for this. That figure looks great and even though I know next to nothing about it, I want it for the look.

Lego

I haven’t had a chance to digest all the Lego news just yet, but there’s a great gallery up at ASMZine. One thign that really caught my eye is a yellow Lego Semi Truck that carries little mini Lego sets. I love that.

McFarlane

Check out Figures.Com for a small gallery of McFarlane’s offerings. Halo, Prince of Persia, and the Sports-based figures were the big push for McFarlane this year.

Mezco

ASMZine has a nice gallery up. Some great Wolfman figures, and those Mez-Its are starting to look pretty good for folk who still need a Mighty Muggs fix.

Neca

CoolToyReview has a good gallery of the Neca booth. I was surprised to see that Neca is handling the Jonah Hex figures instead of DC Direct. Also, I’m still trying to convince myself I don’t need Bioshock toys, but I could lose control at any time!

Playmobil

MillionairePlayboy has a gallery of cool Playmobil toys up. I don’t buy much in this area, but they make some of the coolest stuff in this line. They’ve got some neat Castle sets, but for some reason, the construction vehicles are really drawing me in.

Others

Did we miss a toy company that you were excited to see what they had going on? We recommend AFI, Figures.Com, ASMZine.Com, or Cool Toy Review.
