{"id":31395,"date":"2015-07-12T15:52:43","date_gmt":"2015-07-12T20:52:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.itsalltrue.net\/?p=31395"},"modified":"2015-07-12T15:52:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-12T20:52:43","slug":"sdcc-armchair-coverage-dst-calls-up-the-ghostbusters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.itsalltrue.net\/?p=31395","title":{"rendered":"SDCC Armchair Coverage:<Br> DST Calls up the Ghostbusters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itsalltrue.net\/?p=31395\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"newsimages\/sdcc2015\/dstgb01t.png\" alt=\"\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a> You&#8217;ll have to head over to <A href=\"http:\/\/news.toyark.com\/2015\/07\/10\/sdcc-2015-diamond-select-toys-ghostbusters-and-horror-167172\" target=\"_Blank\">ToyArk<\/a> for pics on this one, but I wanted to put up quick post on the new Ghostbusters figures revealed by Diamond Select! <\/p>\n<p>Back at Toy Fair, DST surprised everyone with the first wave of figures (including Winston Zeddemore, Ray Stantz, and Louis as the Keymaster). At that time, they said there would be 12 figures and a collect &#038; connect playset of Spook Central&#8217;s roof (55 Central Park West, to be more precise). At SDCC, DST revealed seven more figures. I&#8217;m not totally in love with all of them, I&#8217;m only guessing that one is Dana Barrett, but we&#8217;re so far past Mattel at this point that it&#8217;s crazy. I think I&#8217;m strangely most excited about finally getting a Janine Melnitz. <\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the full list so far: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Winston Zeddemore<\/li>\n<li>Ray Stantz<\/li>\n<li>Louis (Possessed)<\/li>\n<li>Dana (Possessed)<\/li>\n<li>Gozer<\/li>\n<li>Janine Melnitz<\/li>\n<li>Peter Venkman<\/li>\n<li>Walter Peck<\/li>\n<li>Terror Dog<\/li>\n<li>Slimer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Assusming Slimer is his own release, and that we know Egon Spengler will be included, that leaves just one figure to round out DST&#8217;s 12. Who fills that spot? Mayor Lenny? Another ghost? I doubt we see regular versions of Louis or Dana (or the Mayor, really). My money is on a a second terror dog.
